Reminders are a convenient way of scheduling a note to yourself (or your team) in the future, for the current conversation. It can be used to remind yourself of a call you planned with an user.

A [reminder](https://crisp.chat/shared-inbox/notification-system/) will then fire on the date you scheduled. You'll receive a notification on all your Crisp apps (Web & Mobile), with the reminder note you submitted.

Our [team inbox](https://crisp.chat/en/shared-inbox/) will never let you down, set reminders to improve your customer service and never miss another follow-up.

This is the perfect tool to improve your [CRM](https://crisp.chat/en/crm/) work for either your sales or support team.

Reminders can be set from your Crisp app either by clicking on "Reminder" in a conversation, or by entering:

` /remind`

.

You must enter a reminder note in order to create your reminder. A note is required, as it will be sent along with the reminder notification when the reminder fires.

A manual reminder date can be entered, if none of the suggested dates fit. A date has the following format:

` mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm`

.

Where:

*   ` mm` is "month" eg. ` 01` for January

*   ` dd` is "day" eg. ` 28`

*   ` yyyy` is "year" eg. ` 2019`

*   ` hh` is "hour" eg. ` 21` for 9pm

*   ` mm` is "minute" eg. ` 30`

Examples:

*   16 April 2019, 3:25pm: ` 04/16/2019 15:25`

*   8 June 2019, 1:00am: ` 06/08/2019 01:00`

Times are expressed in your local timezone, and then normalized when sent to Crisp to UTC. You need not think about timezones, as your local timezone is used when entering a custom date.

A scheduled reminder cannot be cancelled.

Crisp finds the most relevant operator to notify when a scheduled reminder fires. It tries, in order of importance:

* Reminder author (if still in the team)

* Operator assigned to the conversation (if any)

*   All operators (fallback)
