Telegram integration is available from the Crisp Pro plan

Go to app.crisp.chat
Go to plugins
Click on Telegram

Contact Botfather and then launch the command:

/newbot

Provide the Name of your bot
Fill the Username. The name must end with Bot, this is requested by Telegram. For instance, you can use AcmeCorpBot
Telegram will then create a token. Save this token somewhere.
Paste the token generated by Telegram
Click "Connect to Telegram"

Using the Bot, you have the ability to send messages of type "field input"' which the user can fill and submit. This is very handy when asking users for informations, such as an email, nickname, or any other import information.

Creating a list of buttons and reacting to which button your users clicked is a 2 steps process. We will need:

This method uses the Crisp JavaScript API, that you can call from your own code. Given that you know the authenticated user's nickname from your code, you'll be able to set it for the Crisp chatbox.
